Welcome to the web site for Ingatestone and Fryerning Tennis Club

Do you or your family & friends want to learn to play tennis, or come back to the game? Then come and join us at Ingatestone & Fryerning Tennis Club (I&FTC).  I&FTC is a friendly, inclusive, relaxed club in the heart of Ingatestone, with three hard courts located at the rear of the Community Club. We offer:

The Brentwood men's team won the 2017 Division 6 summer title with 14 wins out of 14.  They were promoted to the next tier for 2018 (with 44 points to spare), and are only the 2nd Ingy team ever to win every match in a season, gaining a club record points total of 100.5 points.

Our Chelmsford men's team ended the 2017 summer season with 9 wins out of 10 and achieved promotion (now to Division II) for the second summer running, finishing one point behind the league winners. The mixed, senior mixed & women's teams achieve comfortable 3rd places in their divisions.

Winter league 2017/18

The season ended with the men finishing 3rd in a tightly-contested Division 5, and the  mixed team in a strong 4th position in Division 4, only a few points short of promotion.

25th July - men (C) home to Writtle I

26th July - mixed (C) home to Chelmsfordians II

30th July - men (B) home to Blackmore II

31st July - seniors daytime mixed home to Grove

7th November 2017: Following a public vote, IFTC have won a £500 grant from Skipton Building Society under their "Grassroots Giving" scheme.
